Red faux leather small-format photo album with 48 silver gelatin prints. Completely filled and every image identified and described. Beautiful little photo album documenting the 1957 motorcycle racing world championship in Hockenheim, Germany. The anonymous creator was East German; he describes the GDR motorcycles as “our team”. The French team is called out as the only racers with a woman on the team, and has the coolest photo of the entire album with a racer’s head very close to the asphalt.
